Jim Davis can be hired for both live drum performances and session work. Rates are based on venue, gig duration, travel, equipment needs, rehearsals, etc.

Remote Recording (e-Session)
Do you want live (non-programmed) drum tracks for your promotional demos and recordings? Jim Davis operates his own Pro Tools equipped recording studio and performs drum sessions for artists and songwriters at a flat rate of $100 per song (no hourly or studio fees). With remote recording, the artist simply provides a scratch track (e.g., guitar and vocals played to a click) of a song arrangement via Jim's online FTP website. After discussion and consultation with the artist of the desired drum part/feel (over email, phone, or Skype), Jim will track the drum part, do any needed post processing, and provide to the artist (via the FTP website) a stereo mix of the drum tracks and the individual 44.1kHz/24-bit WAV files (one for each mic/track) to be used for the final mix with other instruments.
